Ellen Gray from Philly Daily News has some comments from Joss Whedon on the coffin-like sleeping chambers seen in the trailer:
“This set was built exactly 20 minutes before I walked on to it to shoot,” explained the man who’s probably best known as the creator of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”

Mark Sheppard of Firefly, Battlestar Galatica and even Bionic Woman fame, has apparently confirmed that he’ll be appearing in Dollhouse. TV Week recently interviewed FOX president, Kevin Reilly, who talked about the FOX marketing strategy and the fan scutiny on it’s new shows, Dollhouse and Fringe. IGN have posted an interview with Battlestar Galatica and Dollhouse star, Tahmoh Penikett. Tahmoh talks about BSG, Joss Whedon, Eliza Dushku and reveals that his Dollhouse character, Paul Smith, is ever so slightly obsessed with his pursuit of the “urban myth” that is the Dollhouse:
