TV Week have an interview with Fox Co-Chairmen Gary Newman and Dana Walden, in which they discuss Joss Whedon and Dollhouse:
TVWeek:The buzz surrounding Joss Whedon’s “Dollhouse” has been sketchy. The show shut down production for a couple weeks. What’s going on?

I thought I’d elevate this TV Week article from the comments to give it more exposure. Apparently there’s more to the 2 week Dollhouse hiatus than meets the eye:

Bad news, or perhaps good news in that Dollhouse has shut down production for 2 weeks. Korbi at Zap2it has more:
The highly-anticipated Dollhouse, from acclaimed TV guru Joss Whedon, has shut down production for two weeks. I’m told that because Joss directed two of the three episodes already shot, he has not had sufficient time [...]

IGN have a really great interview with Joss Whedon, Eliza Dushku and Tahmoh Penikett, from Comic-Con earlier this summer. It’s probably the best Dollhouse interview that I’ve seen so far, they’re very chilled out (or exhausted) and really make the premise sound like pure ‘win’. Take a peek:

I don’t know which location, but according to the FOX Blog he’s busy directing an episode of Dollhouse. I’m presuming it’s the much talked about prequel episode?  Could this be high times for Echo?
