Kristin’s “Dollhouse” Set Visit

by admin on December 15, 2008

E! Online‘s Kristin visits the Dollhouse set and chats to Joss Whedon and Eliza Dushku. Not as interesting as the Access Hollywood visit earlier this month, but it’s better than nothing, right?

Nothing really interesting, although Fox might want to be careful with how they define the dolls. I mean sexy and “child-like”? Ew. Seriously, it will be interesting to see how they handle this aspect, because the show is obviously going for the “sex factor” with Echo and chums (whilst they’re on certain assignments), yet when they’re back in the dollhouse, they’ll have more innocence. Could be controversial?

Whedon compares the “self awareness” aspect of Dollhouse to the “Frankenstein” and “Robot” comparisons which have come before. A very useful analogy.

But enough with the ‘self containment’ already. Serialization eats it for breakfast. That’s all.
