‘Sarah Connor’ Pick-Up Leaves ‘Dollhouse’ Where?..
Sarah Connor and her crew knocked on the door and asked if there’s any room in the Dollhouse - apparently there is, as the show has just been picked up for a full 22 episode season by FOX. Whilst it’s never a chore to have to sit through 40 odd minutes of Summer Glau, I do wonder how this surprise news might affect ‘Dollhouse’. Joss Whedon’s show was supposed to run alongside “24″ in January, with “TSCC” taking a break (or getting cancelled), however the full season pick-up poses some ‘interesting’ questions about how Fox plan to juggle their heavy-weight shows in early 09′.
It’s even being speculated that the decision to give TSCC a full order is because Dollhouse might be delayed (now there’s a shock!):
The Reporter’s James Hibberd speculates that one factor in FOX going forward with more Terminator is that Dollhouse had had some creative struggles and could be delayed. -IGN
As a LOSTie and a FRINGie, I won’t be going hungry in January, so if Dollhouse gets delayed then it gets delayed, as personally I’ll be able to wait. However, it’s hardly surprising that there are rumours about Dollhouse’s future. For a show that should be a celebration of creativity and Joss Whedon’s home-coming, reporting on the negativity surrounding the it is becoming a trend. It’s not even news anymore, it’s just negativity. “Fringe” had none of this, the build up to that show (and I followed it from the very beginning) was a fun-filled romp in the park compared to this.
I’m still very much looking forward to Dollhouse though - I guess I just gotta have faith the show will be worth it.

My feeling is that Dollhouse will not get delayed, and that Terminator will get moved to a new night. There should be plenty of room for both shows. I’m a big fan of Terminator and am avidly looking forward to Dollhouse, so maybe I’m just being optimistic, but I don’t see how this really creates any controversy.
Yeah, TSCC being moved to a new night sounds viable.
Or It could be “dollhouse” that’s moving its time slot.
I’m still looking forward to see this show, but I think I need to stop looking to deep into the news that had come out. People (I not including you Roco) are just being way to negative or trying to find negativity in every single new that comes out, either being the media or fan blogs. It’s just too much. At the moment I’m just passing right over thru any news or reviews that smell negativity.
By the way a member of TWOP sows the pilot and gives it a very good review.
