ATDN can now reveal that Alan [Tudyk] will play the rogue doll Alpha in Joss Whedon’s series ‘Dollhouse’, which premiered on Fox on Friday February 13th.

Glad to hear Wash is in the house (or carving up the house). We already have Badger, and hey, it looks like River should soon be available and is already under contract to FOX.
I like it. Tudyk deserves better than that cell phone commercial (is that what it is, a cell phone commercial?) and I like some of the stuff I’ve seen him in (“Firefly”, “3:10 to Yuma” and “I, Robot” to name a few)
You know, hiding this behind a spoiler tag and then tagging the post itself with “alan tudyk” right below said spoiler tag is a little awkward
I’m so glad that Alan’s on something else instead of that commerical for the stupid cell phone.
rubbish casting
I’m a little bit disappointed, he doesnt seem like he would play the big bad alpha character like I thought it would be portrayed, but maybe it will work, I cant wait to see.
This seems like a good choice! I think it’s much more interesting if Alpha turns out not to be the insane slasher he’s been built up as, just someone with an agenda that clashes with the Dollhouse’s in some way.
It seems to be implied he’s a former employee gone horribly wrong. I’ve been in situations like that, I could get into that version of Alpha.
Anyone who sees the evil in the Dollhouse and wants to bring it down is a mortal enemy of the Dollhouse and must be taken out. It won’t be an anticlimax if Alpha is nutty but principled in his own way.
